Ring Spring Suspension Microphone
. This style harkens back to the early ring carbon-type microphones as seen in many historical photos and surviving models...a metal ring with microphone pickup element suspended within.
This is a complete working microphone...
we mounted the mic within a 5" inner ring and 8" outer ring, (both aluminum) with several stretchable bands suspending the Turner with a it's
original and working
dynamic capsule inside

can be used with any modern amplifier or mixer
, no phantom power needed.) The ring has a standard 5/8" threaded coupler mounted to the vintage adjustable-height Atlas desk stand,
overall height is 17-21". (The mic ring can also be mounted to a standard floor stand for live stage use.) This mic
produces strong clean output
ideal for an type of general voice P.A. use, wired to a short 2' cable with male 1/4" phono plug. (We can wire on a male XLR plug if you prefer.)
