    This is a genuine surplus / new Detroit Police Department hat / cap made in the U.S.A. by Metropolitan Uniform Co. of Detroit, Michigan, U.S.A. It is a very well made cap with never crack patent leather black visor, White vinyl-water proof hat, black cord chin strap attached to Detroit PD buttons . The hat has the military style support shape band that is the easily removable stow away design aka crusher style. A very good quality item.[ Size is 6 1/2 only] Comes from a clean smoke free home.
