Rare 1940's AMPERITE Model CDH Microphone-working with desk stand & cable

Offering a
vintage 1940's era AMPERITE Model CDH Microphone
. The CDH is perhaps the
rarest
of the Amperite line and very rarely comes up for sale. The
physical condition of this one is good
, with some mild chrome wear and a recent restoration with new paint on the rear portion of the all metal casing. The
output is good
with a vintage fidelity favorite mid to highs with a low end roll-off. The on-off switch functions smoothly, the pivot joint holds the tilt angle firmly, the stand threads are clear and undamaged, and the Amperite maker's badge is readable. This mic head has been hard-wired to a short 2 foot cable with male XLR plug, and includes the desk stand as shown.
(We can install a 1/4" male phono plug if you prefer at no charge.)
