Disabled Pet Gear brand products helping our special friends in need
The Spring Supportive Hock Brace for dogs is a neoprene compression brace for the hind leg which provides stability and support to the rear hock (knee) joint without compromising flexibility.
The supportive canine hock brace has metal support springs sewn inside the brace on both side of the leg. This provides the highest level of support possible while remaining flexible and comfortable for your dog to wear while being active
It can be used to help dogs heal from rear leg injuries. It can also be used as a preventative measure for elderly dogs which are at a higher risk for injuries as well as assist with arthritis.
Because the brace is made of strong, yet soft and flexible neoprene, the brace will always be both supportive and comfortable on your dog's leg.  As your dog ages, their joints will naturally deteriorate, just like they do in humans. This brace is an easy-to- use, comfortable option for dogs in need of a little help stabilizing and supporting the rear leg.
    PLEASE MEASURE AND MEASURE AGAIN.
By not measuring your dog you will likely get the incorrect size. A portion of the profits go to disabled and returns actually reduce the amount of charity due to return shipping costs.

    3. Two hours on the first day and increase by an additional 1 hour per day as tolerated.
    4. After the break-in period, wearing times should build up to 8-14 hours a day. Put the brace on in the morning and take it off at night.
    Tips for using the brace
The dog should not wear the brace at night or when they are crated, unless specifically instructed to do so by the veterinarian or rehabilitation professional.
Walks are permitted based on the veterinarian's/rehabilitation professional's recommendation. Gradually increase walks as tolerated.
The right fit is key to using a brace correctly.Too loose and your dog will be able to remove it; too tight and it will inhibit his ability to breathe, pant, or drink and can cause painful chafing.
